Hey campers,

Just to clarify this section is intended to be a quick fire question section on material performance or failures use it if you in a jam and you need a quick answer. I.E inhibition of silicone or ratios to be mixed.

Hope this helps

Mike

Think we should still dissolve it into the Make-up Effects Hub.  I think all people want quick answers to their questions, and we are just over complicating the matter by making this a separate category.

Here's a quick question, can new baldies be used for old age stipple?

I am very new to mold making, so bear that in mind. I need a mold release that I can get at any hardware store. I don't have time to order it or get it at a specialty store out of town. This is for a silicone mold to make bondo transfers. I have tried several times, and 9 times out of 10 the frozen piece gets stuck inside the mold and I have to pick it out in bits then scrub out the frozen prosaide, a frustrating process. All I have for mold release is baby powder, but clearly that is not enough. Anything that is fairly common and easy to come by that might work?
Thank you in advance. I'm despairing here, I need these done by tomorrow. :/
